What data do you upload from my laptop/system? Why?
The scanner utility uploads the SBC configurations related to secured remote working, trunk gateway, DoS/DDoS protection, secured reverse proxies, NIST standards. This data is required to enhance your protection against DoS/DDoS attacks, malware and zero-day attacks, quality of service attacks and to ensure your SBC is configured to the highest levels of security and encryption.
The scanner utility only uploads selective data to the cloud. This includes certain tokens from call logs, audit logs. The tokens include IP addresses, display name and phone number of connected devices, both near and far-end. This data is required to provide you advanced security like breach detection, toll fraud detection and identifying attackers or illegitimate traffic.
