Is the scan expected to find all security issues? If I remediate as per the recommendations, will my SBC be 100% secure?

Is the scan expected to find all security issues? If I remediate as per the recommendations, will my SBC be 100% secure?

The scan is provided to you on an as-is basis with no explicit warranties. The scan attempts to find as many security vulnerabilities in your SBC as possible, but it does not claim to find 100% of issues. Also do note that attacks can happen at any time, even immediately after the scan completes.

Security is a discipline rather than a one-off activity. Remediating one time will help improve the security posture for a few minutes, hours or days, but not permanently. The threat landscape is always changing – new attackers emerge, new methods are employed, networks change with new connections, calling patterns change. In short, the state of SBC security is always changing.

If you are scanning periodically and remediate all the findings, you are likely to have a robust and secure SBC.
